Chickens 1 - kitten 0

Oh dear, Mitsy learnt the hard way today that chickens are best left alone. Whereas the other two cats avoid going into the back garden when the chickens are loose, Mitsy, who has just discovered how to use the catflap and therefore found freedom... decided that investigating what the chickens were eating looked fun. Until now she has just observed from a distance, sensible, but not today. Put it this way, the chickens reached the catflap before she did and she was pecked. Poor thing, but she is fine.

Also amazingly, after 48 hours, we still have a christmas tree intact......!
