Mittens and mad kitten
After my first attempt at knitting with my own spun wool produced the oversized mitten, I have finally managed to knit a wearable pair..... they fit lovely, and I am really pleased with them.
I am knitting another pair now having received a "big hint" from my friend Marie....!
Its a good job I have a whole Jacobs fleece to work from! I love the way the black and white of the fleece gives an overall grey effect.
Of course I have a little helper when ever I am trying to do any knitting or spinning.... Mitsy... she is now 12 weeks old, still very affectionate and an escape artist.... she met the chickens this morning after dashing out of the back door. They of course chased her and hopefully she will stay indoors a bit more now!
Here is Mitsy on my shoulder just now (bit blurry, sorry) and another of her comfortable in bed.

Blue is my favorite color, too. Those mittens are pretty! What a cute kitty!
Great job on the mittens! Your kitten is adorable, I bet the chickens scared the heck out of her. :)
